Emery's "I'm Only A Man" - A Certified Flop: Chapter 22

Dead Poetic is one of the bands that was discovered at cornerstone, and due to their hard work and dedication as kids, stepped into just the right place at just the right time.  The groundwork had been laid by the pioneers of the scene, the infrastructure was in place, and Tooth & Nail, partnered with EMI was at the top of the mountain.  Killer production, promotion, and exposure were no problem at all, and the specific sound that Dead Poetic had been developing was about to explode.  The band would achieve success, sales, and opportunities that would dwarf most of the artists that preceded them. And yet, front man Brandon Rike gave it all up. But why?
